Here Disney’s list skips Song Of The South because it has too much live action (or is it because they just don’t want to admit to it???) and head to Fun & Fancy Free. While this one has some live-action sequences featuring Edgar Bergen and Luana Patten, the majority of this film is definitely animated.
This anthology film shows that Disney can learn new tricks- there are only two stories in this film, and both are strong. “Bongo” features a cute, lovable bear, and “Mickey and the Beanstalk” features, well, Mickey. This would be the last time Walt voiced Mickey Mouse; Jim Macdonald started taking over for Walt in this film.
Taking a cue from Dumbo, this movie is also rather short, timing 68 minutes.
