The Incredibles Easter Eggs

The Incredibles was the first- and, to date, only- feature Pixar film to not have the pizza truck in it. Maybe. We are happy to be proven wrong on this, so if you spot it, let us know. Otherwise, you will have to content yourself with two A-113’s…

A-113 in The Incredibles

The first is audio-only. When Mirage is touring Mr. Incredible around  Syndrome’s lair, she mentions this as the meeting room number.

The second reference is inferred. You get the A-113 when you combine the prison level where Mr. Incredible is held (Level A1) and his cell number (13).

The Pizza Planet Truck in The Incredibles

It is said that the Pizza Planet truck is not in this film, and that this is the only Pixar film in which it does not appear. But that does not keep people fro looking…. and hoping. There are a few trucks (or yellow cars) that some people think may be the holy grail of Pixar films, the Pizza Planet Truck in The Incredibles.

This first possible siting is from the end fight, after Frozone enters the fray. There is a definite yellow something in the upper right…. but is that the Pizza truck?

Here is another possible;e yellow truck- look near the top inb the center where the little sliver of light just touches the road. Its sure yellow, but that looks more like a car to me.

Lee Unkrich from Pixar has stated that there is no Pizza Planet truck in The Incredibles. John Lasseter has mentioned that the truck is in there, somewhere. What do you think?

Other Pixar Films Hidden In The Incredibles

When Lucius and Bob drive out of an alleyway on their way to rescue people from a fire, one building has a sign for “Andy’s (the boy from Toy Story), while across the screen is a second sign for the Luxo Deli.

In the climatic final battle, as Mr. Incredible battles the Omnidroid, we can see a preview of Doc Hudson from Cars.

Also from Cars, we have a quick glimpse of Red, the Fire Truck.

And in the follow-up short Jack-Jack Attack, we see Jack-Jack has a Luxo ball for a toy… (If you have not seen this short, you are missing a REAL treat- watch it today!)

Luxoball In The Incredibles

The scene in which Frozone is held at gunpoint by a rookie cop is an homage to a similar scene from Die Hard With a Vengeance. Samuel L. Jackson played both characters.

John Ratzenberger

John Ratzenberger appears at the end as the Underminer, destroyer of peace. He threatens the world, and the Parrs jump into action against him. The character returns in a video game called The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer.
