DreamWorks Animation today announce the main voice cast of their second feature film for 2016. Trolls will feature the voices of Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick, Gwen Stefani, James Corden, Russell Brand, Icona Pop, Ron Funches and Kunal Nayaar, all of whom have all taken to Twitter to reveal their characters.

The Academy has announced this years medalists for the Student Academy Award. The medalists in the animation category are An Object at Rest, Soar, and Taking the Plunge. The specific placement for the films- gold, silver, and bronze- will be announced on September 17 at an awards ceremony in Beverly Hills, California. Animated shorts also showed up in the alternative category, with Chiaroscuro and Zoe both also placing there.

DreamWorks Animation has moved the release date for their third installment in the Kung Fu Panda series for the second time, moving it back to a January 2016 release. Kung Fu Panda 3 was initially moved from a December release to a March 2016 release last December to avoid a release conflict with J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.
