The Adven­tures of Tintin

Steven Spielberg’s “The Adven­tures of Tintin” was named Best Ani­mated Film on Sun­day by the New York Film Crit­ics Online, an orga­ni­za­tion com­posed of New York City-based Inter­net reviewers.

The 11th New York Film Crit­ics Online Awards named The Artist as Best Film. The Artist also won for Best Direc­tor (Michel Haz­anavi­cius) and Best Film Music or Score (Ludovic Bource).

Michael Shan­non was declared Best Actor for his role in Take Shel­ter, while Meryl Streep was named Best Actress for her role in The Iron Lady.

For Best Sup­port­ing Actor, Albert Brooks won for Drive. Best Sup­port­ing Actress went to Melissa McCarthy for Brides­maids — a film that was also hon­ored for Best Cast.

Nat Faxon, Jim Rash and Alexan­der Payne won Best Screen­play for The Descen­dants. Iran’s A Sep­a­ra­tion won the NYFCO Award for Best For­eign Lan­guage Film.
