A Merry Mirthworm Christmas (1984) — Perennial Pictures Cartoon Special
It’s Christmas, and Bert Worm is the new guy in town. He wants so badly to be accepted by the other worms, but he tries too hard and bumbles things. He accepts that he is just trouble to the town and runs away, but in his going, gets caught in a nasty blizzard. Crystal Crawler is Bert’s only friend and she knows his talent lies in his beautiful voice, which, in the end, is the gift of friendship he gives to the whole town. In Bert’s rescue from the storm, and the discovery of Bert’s talent, all the worms learn a valuable lesson about caring for their fellow worm and giving others a chance to be a part.
