Marvel Animation is teaming the big green guy with Tony Stark in an all new feature film. Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United is a direct-to-video animated film that will team the two up to battle the energy creature Zzzax.

The two ride off together at the end of the hit film The Avengers, prompting some to speculate as to a teaming of Iron Man and The Hulk. This animated film seems to be that teaming, albeit not officially. There are at least two more films in the live-action series of The Avengers.

In Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United, Zzzax’s origin is explored. He wrecks havoc on the east coast of the United States. Hulk and Iron Man initially think the other is to blame, but team up to fight Zzzax when they realize their mistake.

Adrian Pasdar will voice Tony Stark/Iron Man and Fred Tatasciore reprises his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Veteran voice actor Dee Bradley Baker takes on the energy creature Zzzax.

Produced in a hybrid of computer generated and hand-made art, the film has a whole new style for Marvel Animation. Below are a couple early promotional images Marvel released to Entertainment Weekly showing the new character designs.
