Lipsett Diaries

A tale of tor­ment, direc­tor Theodore Ushev’s “Lipsett Diaries” (“Les jour­naux de Lipsett”), won the Genie — the Cana­dian equiv­a­lent of the Oscar — for Best Ani­mated Short on Thurs­day night.

Released by the National Film Board of Canada, Lipsett Diaries was pro­duced by the National Film Board of Canada’s Marc Bertrand. It won over another film pro­duced by Bertrand for the NFB, Claude Cloutier’s The Trenches (La tranchée).
