Since 2001, he worked for Disney, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros., Fox and Cartoon Network.
The cause of death remains unconfirmed. Although some people are speculating online that it was suicide, his death may have been accidental, Amir Amidi wrote on the Cartoon Brew site.
However, Dave Thomas, producer and storyboard director of Nickelodeon’s Fairly Oddparents and TUFF Puppy, wrote on his personal blog December 8 that Garduno had died “losing a long battle with depression.”
Born in 1976, Garduno worked on the series El Tigre, The Buzz on Maggie, Family Guy, The Drinky Crow Show and Coconut Fred’s Fruit Salad Island!. As well, he created the online comic 1930 Nitemare Theatre, which ran on Dumm Comics for a number of years.
Services are scheduled at 3 p.m. December 17 at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, 6000 Santa Monica Boulevard.
