Walt Disney World has settled a federal lawsuit filed by a Pennsylvania woman who claimed that Donald Duck groped her during a visit to the Epcot theme park.
Court documents indicate that April Magolon reached a settlement last week in her case against the entertainment giant.
Last year, the Upper Darby woman sued Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, alleging that a costumed park employee grabbed her breast during a May 2008 visit to the Florida tourist attraction.
Magodon, 28, sought over $50,000 in compensation plus another $150,000 in punitive damages, alleging that the incident has caused her “anxiety, headaches, nausea, cold sweats, insomnia, nightmares, flashbacks, and digestive problems.”
Terms of the the settlement have not been disclosed, according to The Smoking Gun. As well, a Disney spokeswoman declined to discuss details of the settlement.
Magolon’s attorney did not return a phone message left Tuesday by the Associated Press.
