Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked

The partly animated “Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked” was named Favorite Movie at Saturday night’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, defeating two other hybrid films.

The Muppets and The Smurfs also were in the running, as was the live-action Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.

For Favorite Animated Movie, the Shrek spinoff Puss in Boots won over Cars 2, Kung Fu Panda 2 and Rio.

Honors for Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie went to Katy Perry, the only woman among the four competitors. Vying with her were Antonio Banderas, Jack Black and Johnny Depp.

Yet again, SpongeBob SquarePants was named Favorite Cartoon. Also running were Kung Fu Panda, Phineas and Ferb and Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated.

Victorious won for TV show, while favorite TV actor and actress blimps went to Jake Short and Selena Gomez. Adam Sandler and Kristen Stewart were declared favorite movie actor and actress.

The Big Help Award went to Taylor Swift, while Justin Bieber won for Biggest Slime of the Night.
