Chicken Little

A couple days ago, I panned Chicken Little in CotD as the worst Disney feature animated film ever; this in NOT that Chicken Little. This one was directed by Clyde Geronimi, and produced in 1943. This one was a short.

The traditional story of the little chicken who believes that the sky is falling … but with a decidedly different ending. This adaptation of the tale points up the danger of believing and spreading rumors.

In the original version of this cartoon, Foxey Loxey reads the book ‘Mein Kampf.” In a re-released version, the title has been changed to read ‘Psychology.”

One of a series of four special animated films produced by the Disney Studios at the request of the U.S. government during World War II for the purpose of discrediting totalitarianism in general and Nazism in particular.
