Broadcast deal signed for spy series “Action Dad”

Canal+ has inked a deal with Los Angeles based Toonzone Studios securing the broadcast rights for the super spy family series Action Dad.

The 2D animated show, produced by Toonzone Studios and financed by the Animation Development Company, follows the adventures of a super spy family in which the parents are spies at competing agencies.

The comedy-adventure series is aimed at family coviewing and children ages 6 to 11. Running for 26 22-minute episodes, it’s set to air on both Canal+ Family and Teletoon in 2012 and 2013.
