Broadcast deal signed for spy series “Action Dad”

Canal+ has inked a deal with Los Ange­les based Toon­zone Stu­dios secur­ing the broad­cast rights for the super spy fam­ily series Action Dad.

The 2D ani­mated show, pro­duced by Toon­zone Stu­dios and financed by the Ani­ma­tion Devel­op­ment Com­pany, fol­lows the adven­tures of a super spy fam­ily in which the par­ents are spies at com­pet­ing agencies.

The comedy-adventure series is aimed at fam­ily coview­ing and chil­dren ages 6 to 11. Run­ning for 26 22-minute episodes, it’s set to air on both Canal+ Fam­ily and Tele­toon in 2012 and 2013.
