Bart Gets An F (1990) — The Simp­sons Car­toon Episode Guide

Bart’s poor school­work pushes his teacher to the point threat­en­ing to hold him back a year. He falls behind study­ing his­tory, so he prays to God for a snow day. The next day, it does snow, but Lisa reminds him he prayed for this, and so now he owes God. There­fore, Bart stud­ies all day. The next day at school, he makes a 59 on the test– fail­ing him. He breaks out in tears and shows applied knowl­edge about how George Wash­ing­ton felt after los­ing a bat­tle. Hear­ing this, Mrs. Krabap­pel gives Bart an extra point, thus pass­ing him with a D-.
